In the third chapter of my “Journey Into AI Art,” I venture further into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence and its ability to create art. As with my previous trials, I challenged ChatGPT to generate a representation of itself (see below).

Draw a representation of yourself showcasing your creative abilities. Prominently display your name, software version, and the current date. Use maximum resolution in an aspect 3:1 ratio.

The results were intriguingly different from past experiments, revealing new facets of AI’s artistic interpretation and capability. As shown below, for my previous two trials, ChatGPT generated a conceptual, logical representation of itself. This time, ChatGPT generated a physical, robotic representation of itself. Also, this time around ChatGPT generated a colder, colorless rendering. ChatGPT also fixed the spelling of “chat” in its name, but it left out version information. In the latest representation, ChatGPT included a malformed and incorrect date (the current date should have been January 15th, not the 13th). Lastly, it’s interesting that ChatGPT added the slightly misspelled “language processing” reference in its latest rendering.

The accompanying image blends the conceptual representation with the physical one; however, the robot's head-on view doesn’t match the profile view. As in my last experiment, I used the following prompt, which generated the below image:

Generate an accompanying image that aligns to the right of the previous image. Use a 1:1 aspect ratio.

And finally, here is the combined image for my second trial of AI art evolution.
